Anna graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2003 with a degree in Dental Hygiene and is licensed in the State of Georgia. She really enjoys her work and appreciates the opportunity to meet many different people. She cares a great deal about delivering high quality service to her patients, many of whom become a part of her life. She utilizes the latest technology, tools and products to improve their oral hygiene. Her focus is to educate her patients on the proper oral health care methodologies and the important role they play in maintaining their overall good health.
Denise Xavier
Registered Dental Hygienist

Denise is a graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University and licensed In the State of Georgia. She also holds state licensing from Texas and California and is certified in the administration of local anesthesia, Nitrous Oxide and soft tissue curettage.
Patrice Washington
Office Manager

Patrice, a native New Yorker is a wife to a loving husband and mother to six beautiful children. Her family’s military background has afforded her the opportunity to live in several different states. After graduating from high school she attended college to study Criminal Justice. Feeling the need to serve her country she later enrolled in the Army where Patrice was given the opportunity of having a dual Military Occupational Specialty (MOS). She was an Administrative Specialist III and a Certified Postal Clerk assigned to the 18th Airborne Corp. During her service, she assisted in providing services to the victims of Hurricane Hugo in Homestead Florida. Upon receiving an honorable discharge from the military she attended Fayetteville Community College. Patrice was awarded a diploma from the Fayetteville Beauty College and later qualified for her license as a Cosmetologist.
Upon relocating to Savannah, GA she attended Savannah Technical College and secured a degree in Office Systems Technology, Medical Billing Specialist & Office Clerk Specialist. Patrice joined the loving staff at Abercorn Family Dentistry in 2004 and currently serves as the Office Manager. Her duties include consulting with patients on their treatment needs and options, booking appointment time, making financial arrangements and coordinating with insurance providers on behalf of patients.
Patrice is a compassionate person who always tries to put others first and appreciates all of the patients that become part of the Abercorn Dental Family. In her leisure time she is active in a variety of youth sports activities and unselfishly donates her time to help young people. She is member of the coaching staff of the Savannah Silver Cheethas Track & Field Club. Her children are also members of the track club and are medal holders of the yearly Oylmpic Games. Her philosophy on life is to love people, do all you can do to help others and you will receive the same.
Selest Mcdonald
Front Office Assistant

Selest in a native of Savannah Georgia and a graduate of Saint Vincent’s Academy. She graduated from Savannah Technical College with a major in the field of Dental Office Management. Selest is currently pursuing a degree in Health Science from The University of Phoenix.
Selest joined the staff of Abercorn Family Dentistry in 2008 where she serves in the position of Front Office Assistant. Selest is known for greeting each patient with a courteous smile and a warm welcome. Her duties include consultation with patients on treatment options, booking appointments, exploring financial options and coordinating with insurance providers.
Selest enjoys spending time with her loving husband and three beautiful boys. Her hobbies include swimming, skating and writing poetry. She loves animals and volunteers at the Humane Society of Savannah Ga. Success is Selest’s main goal and she is motivated and focused in her approach to life.
Ashley Richards
Dental Assistant

Ashley is a native of Vermont, NH and relocated to Savannah Ga. as a young child. In 2006, prior to her introduction to dentistry, Ashely pursued a career in Real Estate. Feeling the need to move in a new direction she accepted an opportunity to work in the Dental Field as a Dental Assistant in 2007. After only a few weeks of on-the-job training she realized that she thoroughly enjoyed the work she was learning. Ashley is eager to educate the patients of Abercorn Family Dentistry on the importance of promoting proper dental care and how it contributes to their overall health status. She stresses the importance of delivering quality care while making sure is done with comfort in mind.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and her beautiful daughter Taylor. She loves the outdoors and actively participates in charity walks and other fundraising events.
Latiya Phillips
Dental Assistant

A native of Savannah she attended Savannah Technical College and graduated from the Dental office Management program. She holds a certificate in Medical Coding. Latiya joined the staff at Abercorn Family Dentistry in 2009 as a Dental Assistant. She enjoys spending time with her son and has a passion for serving her community. Her priorities include spending time with her family and attending church. She is an active volunteer for Savannah’s Economic Opportunity Authority (EOA) as well as the Harambee House. Her pastimes include walking, skating and traveling.
